Dubravko Kuhta was born in the previous millennium (1957) in Zagreb, after a highly heterogeneous training (low voltage electrical engineer, freelance sound recorder, class subjects teacher, visual art teacher), after work in the Lisinski Concert Hall and in Ina-Naftaplin, he arrived at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. Mounting exhibitions and working with local and foreign artists, he resolved to try his own hand. He is interested in everything, is trying his hand at experimental video, but is also attracted by various technical games.

His passion is model railways, from which the ideas for his work tend to spring, most often based on various mechanical devices (for some time he studied at the mechanical engineering faculty), helped with electrical circuits based on archaic electronic elements popular at the end of the last century.
