Johannes Jensen (b. 1981 in Hamburg) is an artist and electrical engineer whose artistic practice is characterized by the integration of moving machines and electronics into installations that perform nonsensical actions. He has received numerous awards for these works. After studying fine arts at the Düsseldorf Art Academy and the Academy of Media Arts Cologne, Jensen joined the artistic research and production platform at the ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe in 2019.
