The Split Device_art 7.021 exhibition presents works by six Croatian artists who deal with technology and devices as a means of expression in their artistic practices. These are Mirjana Vodopija, Iva Ćurić, Tin Dožić, Filip Borelli, Vitar Drinković and Margareta Lekić. The exhibition is a small overview of the Croatian device art scene which in the last few years has transformed into an agile and versatile artistic field. The presented artists experiment with media and techniques, connecting them with current social situations as well as personal narratives and experiences. At the same time they are emphasizing the research process as an integral part of their artistic work. The exhibition is curated and organized by KONTEJNER in partnership with Multimedia Cultural Centre Split and Platform 9,81.
