Valentina Peri (IT/FR) is a Paris-based independent curator and author whose work explores technology’s impact on contemporary culture, with a focus on love and intimacy in the digital age. Her traveling exhibition Data Dating has been shown across Europe and became a book: Data Dating. Love, Technology Desire (Intellect, 2022). She created The Museum of Dating, tracing the history of dating and technology before the internet, presented in London (2023) and Marseille (2025). Since 2022, she has researched internet romance scams in West Africa, resulting in the books The New Romance Scammer’s Instructor and Le Brouteur Galant (UV Editions, 2024).
Valentina is also a co-founder of SALOON Paris, a network for women-identifying art professionals, part of the international SALOON Network.
At KONTEJNER, she will present her curatorial practice on love and technology, focusing on her current project Artificial Intimacies, which explores the rise of recreational romance, the gamification of intimacy, and the shifting emotional dynamics between humans and companion AI chatbots.
