Lina Kovačević was born 1979 in Zagreb. She works as a static & moving designer, both independently and as a member of few collectives. Within egoboo.bits label she is active at GNU girl power lounge ŕ a female audio-video collective based on publishing authorial works under copyleft licence.

She exhibited at few Croatian and international shows. As a veejay she took part in various festivals (Club Transmediale, Berlin; Contact Europe, Vienna, Steirische Herbst and ExitSpace, Graz; Musical Biennial, Zagreb, UrbanFestival, Zagreb). As a member of the Multimedia Institute she is engaged as a project editor (halt.Everything, pxl~flx) and media designer. She took part in organising video.lab.camp.event - an international convention of video artists and videoscope - a presentation of veejay production, held in Cinema Central in Zagreb. Together with her colleagues she organized few vee-jay workshops (raf, otokultivator3, egoedookacija). She is presently a senior student of Design Department at the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb.
