Stahl Stenslie’s is a media artist, curator and professor, based in Oslo, Norway. His artistic work is concerned with the development of experimental interface technologies and tools within the fields of art, media and network-research. His main focus is on the cognition and perception manipulative projects, with a special emphasis on interactive art work. He has exhibited and lectured at major international events (ISEA, DEAF, Ars Electronica, SIGGRAPH). He represented Norway at the 5th Istanbul Biennial, Turkey, co-organized 6cyberconf, won the Grand Prize of the Norwegian Council for Cultural Affairs, and was a founding member of membrane -network research laboratory- in Mediapark, Cologne, Germany. He was moderator at the Ars Electronica 2000 Symposium (Next Sex). Between 2001 and 2005 he was a professor In New Media at the Media Academy of Cologne, Germany. From 2005 till 2007 he was the dean of the Faculty of Visual Arts, Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHiO). Currently he is a professor in Media Art at KHiO. He is also an elected board member of ELIA – European League of Institutes in the Arts.

 

Per Anders Kvam was educated as system developer and has worked as a technological consultant and system developer for interactive art installation since DETOX in 1999. He has developed software and hardware for various control systems both for robotics, interactive videoinstallations and both in combination. He was responsible for developing the HD-video playback system at the Munch Museum in Oslo during Per Manings exhibition Between The Clock and The Wall in 2006.
