Zoran Todorović was born in 1965 in Belgrade, where he curently lives and works as a docent at the faculty of Fine Art. His works thematize issues of surveillance, control and censorship, often confronting the viewer with an uncomfortable situation in which they become both subject and object of a scenario which takes the form of a psychological/social experiment. He has presented his work at some of the most prestigious international new media events and institutions: Ars Electronica, Linz (2008); Art in General, New York (2001); ZKM Karlsruhe (2001) – where he was awarded the International Media Art Award in the framework of CTRL\SPACE: Rhetorics of Surveillance. His solo exhibitions have been presented, among many other venues, at: Student Centre Gallery, Zagreb; Museum of Contemporary Art, Zagreb; Artspace Sidney, Pekarna Institute, Maribor, Student Cultural Centre Gallery, Belgrade.
