Yannick Hofmann (b. 1988 in Offenbach a.M.) is an artist and curator working at the ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe since 2014. Artistically integrating methods of the maker scene (e.g. creative coding, physical computing, hardware hacking), his concept-driven artworks oscillate between time-based and space-based media exploring real-world phenomena with an ironic yet thought-provoking twist. He has been internationally active in Central, Southern, and Eastern Europe, Russia, North America, Southeast Asia and India.
