KONTEJNER in Mexico City!

KONTEJNER is presenting Touch Me festival in Mexico City as a part of the conference „Taboo-Transgression-Transcendence in Art & Science“ from 11th to 13th November 2018.

The conference "Taboo-Transgression-Transcendence in Art & Science" includes theoretical presentations and artists' talks focusing on: a) questions about the nature of the forbidden and about the aesthetics of liminality - as expressed in art that uses or is inspired by technology and science, b) the opening of spaces for creative transformation in the merging of science and art. The third edition of the conference is going to take place from 11th to 13th November 2018 at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, and the Centro de Cultura Digital.

At the conference Tomo Savić-Gecan will present the concept of the project that is the result of his residency at CERN (organized by KONTEJNER and CERN). Robertina Šebjanič and Gjino Šutić will present their new production “Aquaforensic” which examines the impact of drugs on life in the sea. Curators Sunčica Ostoić and Olga Majcen Linn will give a lecture on the topic of transgressive works produced and exhibited by the KONTEJNER association.
