Open call for participation in the art project by Tomo Savić-Gecan as part of the Venice Biennale
We are inviting dancers to apply for participation in the art project by Tomo Savić-Gecan “Untitled (Croatian Pavilion) 2022” curated by Elena Filipovic and produced by KONTEJNER. The project will represent Croatia at the Venice Biennale – 59th International Art Exhibition from April 23 – November 27, 2022. The deadline for applying is September 22, 2021.

Motions: An Experimental Sound Event
As part of the international project Re-Imagine Europe, KONTEJNER is preparing a new experimental sound event: Motions, which will take place 16th – 20th June, 2021, at three venues, the Zagreb Dance Center (ZPC), Grič Tunnel and Mesnička Cultural Centre. Free tickets for each programme block in ZPC (16th and 17th June) can be picked up at the ZPC box office one hour before the start of the programme.

Workshop on Media Archeology and Sound as part of Darsha Hewitt's EMAP residency
In collaboration with Radiona.org/Zagreb Makerspace, KONTEJNER is organizing a workshop led by Canadian artist Darsha Hewitt (CA/DE) as part of this year's EMAP residency. The workshop is intended for students of the “Art at the intersection with science and technology” course at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb under the mentorship of Sunčica Ostoić, and is held at Radiona on April 19 and 26, 2021 with Darsha Hewitt participating via Zoom.

Research of material waste of sound reproduction technology: new two-month online EMAP residency
KONTEJNER is welcoming Berlin based Canadian artist Darsha Hewitt as the 2021 EMAP resident. Her two-month online residency will focus on the second part of the sound-centric trilogy “High Fidelity Wasteland” that experiments with the material waste left over from generations of decomposing sound reproduction technology.

Open call for Device_art festival 7.021
