Children will be introduced to the workshop with the presence of different aspects of technology and machines in visual arts. Through the Device_art exhibition, children will be shown the long history of using gold in art and then look at Tin Dožić's work that extracts golden components from electronic waste to see how gold has gone from a decorative to a utilitarian medium. Together we will close the cycle of gold by bringing back its decorative role and using gilding in creating an artwork. During the practical part of the workshop, we will create sculptures that include electronic components and golden details emphasizing their aesthetic impression.
