Arc-hive Symposium: „Life as an object“
The symposium „Life as an object“ at Kapelica Gallery, Ljubljana, on 17th and 18th February 2022, will be devoted to tackling key issues and specific challenges of contemporary artworks that are based on biological medium or processes and known to employ living systems in its content and form. KONTEJNER curators Olga Majcen Linn and Sunčica Ostoić participate in the symposium programme organized within the framework of Creative Europe project Arc-hive.

Re-Imagine Europe residential training
New artistic production by Branimir Štivić (HR) under the title “B E L L O W S” has bees reaalized as a part of a residential training within the framework of the project Re-Imagine Europe. The installation will be presented at Device_art festival 7.012 in Zagreb, at the Museum of Contemporary Art from 23rd November to 19th December 2021.

Study visits to Brussels and Berlin as part of the Arc-hive project
Through one week, our curators Jurica Mlinarec and Luja Šimunović went through a digitization workshop and visited the collection of the Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences, and in Berlin they explored the new manifestation Future Perfect Land and visited the curators of Art Laboratory Berlin.

Open call for participation in the art project by Tomo Savić-Gecan as part of the Venice Biennale
We are inviting dancers to apply for participation in the art project by Tomo Savić-Gecan “Untitled (Croatian Pavilion) 2022” curated by Elena Filipovic and produced by KONTEJNER. The project will represent Croatia at the Venice Biennale – 59th International Art Exhibition from April 23 – November 27, 2022. The deadline for applying is September 22, 2021.
