Empathy Swarm open studio - evening with Katrin Hochschuh and Adam Donovan
This Friday, August 31st 2018, from 6 p.m. Katrin Hochschuh and Adam Donovan will host an open studio evening. As a part of the residential programme within the European project EMAP/EMARE – European Media Art Network and in collaboration with KONTEJNER they have been producing their new artwork - a swarm of emotional robots.

This summer Zagreb is swarming with emotional robots!
During July and August, Adam Donovan and Katrin Hochschuh are continuing their EMAP residency in Zagreb. The artists are producing their artwork Empathy Swarm and researching tools for human emotion recognition and interaction between the man and the machine, working along the road with many different collaborators.

Adam Donovan and Katrin Hochschuh started the EMAP kick-off residency in Zagreb
Artist duo will hold a workshop Psychophysics Machines Jam Session for students of Academy of Fine Arts Zagreb on April 26th at 2 p.m. at the Gallery SC, a performance Saturn3 on Wednesday, May 2nd at 10 p.m. at the Gallery SC, and a lecture on Robotics in/and Music on Thursday, May 3rd, 6 p.m. at Teatar &TD.

Media Art Worlds - a conference on hybrid economies of digital art
Media Art Worlds conference is dealing with the contextualization of production and presentation in media art as well as addressing the position of an artist in hybrid economies. The conference is taking place in Helsinki on March 24th and is organized by EMAP - European Media Art Platform.
