Kim Noble Will DieKim Noble (UK)

performance, 2009

Life is tough. Kim Noble will help you get through it whilst laying bare his plans for departing this world.

Premiering at London’s Soho Theatre in April 2009, this absurd mix of comedy, video and avant-garde theatre addresses the issue of Kim’s legacy. As his contemporaries become more and more successful, what he bequeaths to the world becomes of utmost importance to him. In a series of benevolent acts, audience members are written into Kim’s legally binding Last Will and Testament, and provided with guides to surviving terrorist plots on the underground and, perhaps most touching of all, containers of Kim’s sperm available to female audience members in a bid to populate the world with genius once he is dead.

Co-directed by Gary Reich and Flick Ferdinando.

Kim Noble (UK)

Kim Noble is a performance and video artist, and one half of the award-winning, experimental art-comedy duo with Stuart Silver. He studied Fine Art at Sheffield Hallam University. Noble’s work uses a provocative and humorous style to expose the human condition: notions of death, sexuality, gender and religion are picked at with dry comedic use of tragedy meshed with absurdity. His solo work is disorientating and aims to destabilise its audience as much as to make it laugh. In recent years Noble has presented his art/multimedia performance work at a number of UK and international venues.
