This work makes textile-visions. Using the movements of the needle and of the machine itself as feedback, images and sounds are woven. Although these are mechanical and continuous because of the repetitive work of the machine, slight differences and errors occur due to the fact that people are operating it.

Yosuke Kawamura (JP)
Yosuke Kawamura was born in 1977 in Nagoya. In 2000 he graduated from the Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music Media Design Course and in 2002 he graduated from IAMAS Art & Media Labo Course. His work is based on sound and visual installations. Since 2005, he has organized the mobile museum MOBIUM, which is an extension of his sound field work. He has also produced exhibitions and made research work.
