German experimental animator and media artist Max Hattler studied at Goldsmiths College and the Royal College of Art in London. Max has had solo shows at Lumen Eclipse, Media Art Friesland, Image Forum Festival, Fredrikstad Animation Festival and others. His works have been shown at hundreds of film festivals. Awards include the Visual Music Award (Germany), London International Animation Festival, Videofestival Bochum, Videologia, Eksjo Animation Festival, and 700IS Iceland. He has collaborated with music acts including Basement Jaxx, Diplo and Objeto Amarelo, and he has shown his audio-visual live performances across Europe, the Americas and Asia, including MIS (Sao Paulo), Electrovisiones (Mexico City), Cimatics (Brussels), SuperDeluxe (Tokyo) and the ICA (London). He teaches at Goldsmiths College, London.
