Marko Gusić (HR)

Marko Gusić was born in 1992 in Ljubljana, he graduated from the classical gymnasium in Zagreb, followed by undergraduate and graduate studies in architecture and urbanism at the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb, from which he graduated in 2017. During his studies, he worked at architecture studio OFIS in Ljubljana. With different teams he participated and won awards in open competitions: 1st place in the competition for the concept design of the swimming pool located in Špansko-Oranice; 3rd place in the competition for the resolution and reconstruction of the former DTR building in Krajiška Street; 2nd place in the competition for the production of the urbanistic and architectural solution for the beautification of the space west of the Zakmardy Palace in Habdelićeva Street in Varaždin. Since 2018, works full time at the architecture studio njiric plus, where he has participated in competitions, among other things, for the Podbrežje kindergarten concept design in Zagreb (special mention), competition for the Sesvetski Kraljevec kindergarten concept solution (5th place) and the concept solution for the Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service building in Zagreb (5th place). Marko lives and works in Zagreb.
