Ivan Marušić Klif is a multimedia artist whose practice focuses primarily on interactive video installations. His interests include kinetic, light and video installations, sound, music, and performance. He collaborates extensively with other artists, particularly on theatre productions and with musicians working in interdisciplinary audiovisual performances. From his early light installations of the 1990s to his recent software-controlled works, Ivan Marušić Klif has consistently explored the possibilities of both emerging and obsolete media through the use of sound, light, and moving image, creating increasingly complex immersive environments mediated by technology. Alongside his artistic practice, he is actively engaged in education and the organisation of workshops, hack labs, media labs, and academic programmes. He is the Executive Director of the Vector Hack Festival.
