Jörg Kallinich's visual music instrument is a unique setup of slide projectors which he plays live, through faders, keyboards and self made foot switches. This very immediate approach enables him to improvise his projections dynamically and with a high degree of flexibility. Therefore he has been labelled a "visual pianist" and "slide-percussionist". Interaction with improvising musicians, complex rhythmic structures and spontaneous breaks are possible as well as laid back-flowing sequences.
