Luka Čapeta (HR)

Luka Čapeta is a guitarist and producer from Zagreb who has been involved in music since the age of fourteen. Since taking up the guitar as his primary instrument, he has simultaneously explored and developed other aspects of the musical practice, including composition, production, and music education. He studied at the Vienna Music Institute, where, under the mentorship of Peter Felix Rom, he explored jazz, harmony, and world music. After his years as a student in Vienna, Čapeta returned to Zagreb, where he has been actively involved in fostering the development of the local music scene, both as a musician and as a concert organizer. He has composed and produced music for contemporary dance, theatre, and film, while performing with numerous bands and participating in a wide range of projects. Rooted in electronic, ambient, jazz, and classical music, Luka continuously develops his own musical language, experimenting with various traditional and world music approaches, noise, and avant-garde aesthetics to create a distinctive approach to performance and sound. He has performed at numerous renowned festivals across Europe, including Glatt&Verkehrt, Fira Mediterrània de Manresa, Resonator Festival in Odense, Mikołajki Folkowe in Lublin, BALKAN:MOST Festival in Veszprém, Jazz Jantar Festival, Ljubljana Jazz Festival, and others.
