Mihael Giba is a multimedia artist whose practice focuses on digital technologies, video games, extended reality, and interactive installations. By combining traditional and digital techniques, he creates multimedia—often interactive—installations that describe, document, and critically examine contemporary society.He has exhibited in more than fifty solo and group exhibitions in Croatia and internationally, and continuously collaborates on multimedia projects with numerous artists, cultural organisations, and institutions, including the realisation of three Croatian pavilions at the Venice Biennale. He was a finalist for the Radoslav Putar Award (2013) and the HT Award (2010, 2018), and received the Third Prize at the 33rd Youth Salon. He graduated from the Arts Academy of the University of Split in 2008, and has been a faculty member at the Academy of Applied Arts, University of Rijeka since 2023.
