Paradise Now (BE)

Nomadic sound artist and interdisciplinary artist based in Brussels, Paradise Now has worked with video artists (Hanzel & Gretzel, Régis Cotentin), poets (Ira Cohen, Gerard Malanga, Simon Dumas, Werner Moron, Eric Therer), choreographers (Nadine Ganase, Manon Oligny) and musicians (Christophe Bailleau, Gauthier Keyaerts). Since 2005, he has collaborated closely with Isa Belle (holistic body performer) on a series of installations and performances mixing hearing with the other senses (Sound massages/Touch of bowls, Sonic shower, Ojaskar, Fly Wash, Do Déca Etre, Singing Tree) presented in several international festivals and events. His work has been included in many compilations on independent labels (Sub Rosa, Tiramizu, Tsuku Boshi, Transonic, Optical Sound). His wide sonic universe is made of poetic, textural, electronic, vocal and guitarscape constellations. He has re/mixed the City Sonic catalogue all around the world as a personal introduction to the diversity of sound arts. In 2016, he will release a new album with Isa Belle (Tibetan Bowls, gongs, bells…) and Maurice Charles Jj (saxophone, electronic treatments) on the Transonic label and is also preparing his first solo album.
