Composer, electroacoustic performer, media artist and sound researcher. His work encompasses electroacoustic improvisation, sound installations and interactive systems. He received his PhD in composition and music theory from Graz and conducted postdoctoral research at the Austrian Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence (OFAI). He has received numerous international awards and is the head of the University Program for Electroacoustic and Experimental Music at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
