Thomas Maos (DE)

Thomas Maos was born in 1964 near Stuttgart, Germany. He is a kind of „crossover artist“, performing and composing solo as well as working on projects together with other visual artists, actors, writers, dancers and musicians. His musical influences span from rock, noise, eastern folk, free improvisation to jazz and contemporary classical music. He received scholarships from the Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg and at the Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart. He played hundreds of concerts all over Germany and other European countries and since 1999 he participated in every edition of the CAMP festival, which he also co-founded.
